Cost Free to attend
01 For Partners

A short, focused way to put fresh thinking against a real challenge.

If you're an employer in South London, here's what working with us looks like — and what you'll get out of it.

What we ask for

The Brief

A real-world challenge your organisation is sitting with. Open enough for creativity, contained enough that teams can make meaningful progress in three weeks without needing deep internal access.

The Mentor

A champion who can give 1–2 hours per week for feedback and guidance.

The Pathway

A commitment to consider participants for internships, apprenticeships, or temporary roles post-programme.

What you get back

  • Fresh AI-accelerated perspectives on real operational or strategic challenges
  • Direct access to a motivated, AI-literate cohort
  • Social value and CSR impact in South London
  • An invitation to the live Showcase on 9 July 2026, alongside other London employers
02 What is Next Steps Studio

Skills and entrepreneurial mindset first. Everything else follows.

The goal isn't a polished startup. It's to produce people who leave with real assets, real confidence, and a credible portfolio of work they built in three weeks.

01

Real problems

Partner briefs, not made-up case studies.

02

AI-native

Tools embedded throughout, not bolted on.

03

Incubating the person

Skills and confidence as the primary outcome.

04

South London rooted

Hyper-local employers, community impact.

03 Programme Structure

Three weeks. Three turns of the wheel.

01Week One

Meet the Problem

Cohort orientation, team formation, and lean startup methodology. AI tools setup and practical training. Partner brief introductions and problem framing. Customer discovery and user research.

Target Every team has a defined problem, a target user, and an early prototype by Friday.
02Week Two

Make It Real

Customer discovery in the field. Prototype iteration and evidence gathering. Business model development — lean canvas, financials, marketing basics. AI tools applied to data analysis, content, and solution refinement.

Target Teams can articulate a value proposition, have real customer feedback, and understand initial commercial viability.
03Week Three

Take It Live

Pitching masterclass. Pitch deck and demo development. Rehearsals with mentors. Live showcase event. Final day: individual action planning.

Target Every team has presented their venture to the partner who set their brief, received feedback, and agreed next steps. Every participant leaves with a bespoke personal action plan.
